During 2017 Wotever World has produced an array of queer events across the country. We toured with Bar Wotever to Bristol, Edinburgh, Brighton, and Exeter. We staged workshops in Brighton which brought new performers to the stage! We created a brand new Queer Art and Culture Club evening at The Horse hospital which will be returning in 2018! We staged many Queer Fayre events which brought queer artists and sellers together to trade their creations! We brought you a brand new Drag King Night – Kings Royal, at Gerrys Kitchen – Stratford, which will be back in 2018!  And of course, brought you many Female Masculinity Appreciation Society events both at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern and The Glory! Plus our regularly popular Non Binary Cabaret show which takes place in The Glory basement and became a sold out show at the Ovalhouse Theatre in November this year. Non Binary Cabaret at Ovalhouse Theatre!

On 10th November 2017 at The Oval House Theatre, London, Wotever World presents An Evening of Non Binary Cabaret. We welcome you into our cosy theatre space to experience the electric vibes that is non binary cabaret. Prepare to be entertained, educated, and energised as we take you on a living history journey.  Non Binary Cabaret is a place for for our performers to tell their individual stories,a place for sharing, and a place to feel connected to others.  Stories Shared, Verbal and nonverbal all held together with the fire and notion that we are HERE & NOW and we are counted!

Iron and Sparks will be performing a saucy dance number,  Lysander and Rae will be providing you with a steamy queer tango, cabaret powerhouse FKA will be bringing you a gorgeous drag piece, drag artist Chiyo Gomes will be bringing you Porn and Politics and so many more performers will be embracing the stage! You can expect to learn so much from these performers.

So why do we bring Non Binary Cabaret into a theatre space?

Many express and share the feeling of being more able to be oneself ON STAGE than off, as with the mic in hand, the lights towards you – ‘You Rule’ you can say what you need to say without explaining anything and you can share your message without anyone questioning you, as it’s YOUR Story, idea, truth. In seeing a performer sharing their story honestly, our audience automatically respond in a way of seeing, as in Yes I see you and yes I know what you talk about/ I’ve been there/ I learn from you.

Come along on the 10th November to witness Living Queer History, be part of the revolution!

QA&CC Presents: An Evening With Be Steadwell

“I am an activist because I am a black, queer, woman singing about love. I believe that is radical.”
