Come visit with the voices in Dotty’s head, as they all speak their mind.Dotty, herself just one of her own multiple personalities, will tell you how she regularly goes crazy to try to stop from going insane in a world that is bent on telling her that she is mad. From an early age, she worried that she was not like other girls – talking to her cuddly toys and forming miniature societies and families with them, creating alternate versions of herself who were more confident and free than her to talk to , and making up whole new worlds to visit and live in whenever she needed to. Frightened about what all this might mean but also instinctively certain it was the only way to stay sane, she hid these other selves from the world. Until now.

These stories and more presented in equally eccentric styles of comedy, song, dance by the selves Dotty is on a daily basis. Not without their tribulations, each character will question your mental health and challenge you to accept your own eccentricities and find relief in the knowledge that we are all round the bend. Ultimately she will show you that it is more than okay to be crazy as she comes out of this one more closet herself.

A brand new one-person comedy drama, exploring the limits of mental health and the limits we impose on ourselves. Premiering at THE FLYING DUTCHMAN with Wotever World. This is the latest one-person show by international performance artist Josephine, who is also a published author, speaker and activist. Her work is often focused on gender and sexualities and most recently she appears in Bitte Andersson’s B-movie homage opus “Dyke Hard,” coming out early 2013.
