Celebration of LGBT History Month 2012

Event by Wotever World for Camden LGBT Forum & Islington LGBT

In Islington Assembly Hall

The event included a Queer Tango class, lead by Ute Walter & Adriana Pegorer, many came early to take part and learn a bit more about this sexy style of dancing… Leading and following, all as you like it!

Ute and Adriana also gave us a show filled with Passion and Heat when they danced Argentinian Tango.

The theme was: SteamPunk Tango and a Masked Ball. Many dressed up and enjoyed the site of a mix of LGBT and Queer people aged from 18 up to 80+  getting together and enjoying such an event together.

Speeches from Cllr Phil Kelly, the Mayor of Islington, Cllr James Murray (Islington) and Cllr Sarah Hayward (Camden) as well as Islingtons David Dickey and Camden LGBT Forums Lou Hart. Raffle and Fundraiser in aid of  Albert Kennedy Trust.

Following recent success in the West End, Miss Hope Springs came and entertained us with some of her songs. Amazing voice and great talent! Check her out when you can…
