On Stage:
Maxwell Zachs came to London to pursue a music career, he played his first gig at Bar Wotever and since then… hasn’t bothered to play anywhere else.
Max and his Uke will play a chilled out mix of Amy Winehouse covers and some new original material, as well as the song that just keeps repeating ‘Are You A lesbian?’.

Holly Hayes
Andy Lowe of the 12 Bar Club wrote this about me.
‘Holly Hayes just doesn’t have the time to be pigeonholed as one kind of artist or another. Until now she has probably been better known for her poetry and prose than for her music, but that may be about to change…’
You come to a Holly Hayes show and you get guitar virtuosity, philosophy, humour, rumour and sheer daredevil entertainment. The new John Fahey, Julian Cope, Lady Gaga, Prince… sure, whatever, it’s not just about playing the guitar really well, or taking a walk around a song by a new route, it’s about communication and musicality, and dare we think that strange sounding hybrid “edutainment” might actually not be such a bad idea after all. Teaching and learning, it’s not so much “chicken or egg”, more “two peas in a pod”, or even “more than one way to skin a cat”. (No cats were harmed in the making of this preview).
Holly Hayes identifies as a lesbian and contrarian. She’s a guitar virtuosa, separatist feminist and mathematican. Here are some things you might like to know about Holly Hayes: http://iheartholly.com/tri
