Bar Wotever: Bette Bourne this way
Living legend, grande dame of queer theatre and a veritable piece of social and political history, Bette Bourne has been in the thick of it for the past 50 years.
Bette might not be there in person, but we will celebrate and talk about the new film/documentary that is made of their life. Producers and various people involved in this film will be at BW for Q & A and we will show a variety of clips…plus, we will be filmed blowing a kiss to Bette, as a salute and thank you. So, please wear something lovely ![]()

There also might be a live electro set from a performer from LA that have tried to enter the country to come and play his music with/for us before but failed. A performer we can’t mention the name of as last time they tried to enter the country, customs sent him back home to LA….. This time he try again, and if he succeed it will be loud and celebratory!
