When good times must end…

   Saturday December 11^th we will do our last ever Klub Fukk. It will be a closing night that is a celebration for all of you that have been to the club, enjoyed it, but also moved away from it. It will be a bittersweet closing event for all of you who never went, but heard, fantasized, and wanked over the idea of a Queer Radical Play Space such as klub fukk.

  Over the years of doing Wotever stuff, the event everyone always are most curious about is Klub Fukk, who goes, what DOES happen there, and is really EVERYTHING possible?? Klub Fukk has been the event everyone with dreamy eyes have said – oooh I wish there was a place like that in my town, here where I am…when the fact have been, hard to do it even in a big vibrant city like London….

  The idea of being a radical cool queer sex positive person, seems to be something we all think we are, but in reality it isn’t that easy. The saying ‘your kink might be someone elses No-No’ have never been more true than down at klub fukk many times…. From the start there have been discussions of WHO should be allowed, and WHAT behaviour would pass, Body type, Gender, Genitalia, Age, Ability…. As we are ALL steeped in ways of What cool sex would be, and going to a sex positive radical play space, we want it filled with our wank fantasies, and not being someone elses…. At least not someone we do not fancy, and/or approve of.

   But in that open mind lies the reason for doing it and the only reason why it have lasted as long as it has is that almost every month I have had someone thanking me in the end of the night and with glittery eyes telling me what they have experienced for the first time, who they have met, what they have done with a group, person and stranger. One of the greatest things have been the freedom it have given to explore gender and genitalia that might not be what you would’ve assumed by seeing the face, hearing the voice and feeling the vibe of the person in front of you.

  Our sexuality is our own, and klub fukk walked hand-in-hand with Club Wotever from the start and the rule we had there, ‘Flirt Outside the Box, and you might go to Heaven’. And at klub Fukk you could do that and more, not only flirt outside the box, but testing things, finding out ways of expression you had only dreamt up when lying in your bed with one hand under the duvet….

  The amount of times when dykes could go off with gay men, when trans men would be fucked by cis guys, the gay rugby player who found his butch female dream, the femme who fukked her boi…. The amount of times people wanted a groupfoundle/fuck…all the times me and the hosts pimped people out as flogger, top, bottom and playmate have been to many to remember…

  Speed Fu**ing was our way of celebrating Valentines day one year, and first the on- lookers were out numbered the participants, but when it returned we had to do it twice and take a break as it was starting to resemble a fu** marathon instead. People with rosy cheeks and glittery eyes where simply to exhaust to continue. We celebrated self love with a wank-circle, we danced with our tops off and hands in the air even if our bodies where not perfect, had scars or didn’t fit our name tag in our passport. We dressed on a diy budget and played with pegs and household items as much as dressing up in expensive rubber gear and beat eachother up with hand made floggers made by young animals from foreign countries.

  When we got bored of the porn we could show, we made our own, fabulous playful queer porn where menstruation, birthdays and switching got celebrated. Filmed and shown only at klub fukk you could one night see the people that was filmed, up on the screen play next to you on the dancefloor. People who took part got recognised and celebrated. These films are owned by klub fukk and the people in them, and the contract is that they are only shown at klub fukk….so with klub fukk closing, these films will not be shown elsewhere (unless me and the participants change our contracts).

 Klub Fukk has lasted this long because we have a great group of regulars, and the crew over the years have all been fabulous, and I would like to thank you all who given so much of yourselves. Vicki Lester have played the music almost every evening from the start, Thomas, Jet, Heidi, Issy, Jane, Maria, Aaron, Carrie, Lynette and Magnus have been in the crew helping out on the floor and elsewhere over the years, and then there have  been all the rest of you who made it happen with your spirit, energy and kinky playfulness – thank you!

  But, time has come and it is time to move on… there are other spaces and places to go now and hopefully one of them are making you feel like you fit in and can be whoever you want to be in a queer sexual playful way….
